Started as a Strides Mobility and YTL PowerSeraya joint venture, trading as ChargEco. SP Group bought it outright in July 2026.

Heads up: SP Group completed its full acquisition of Strides YTL on 2 July 2026. Its 1,000-plus public charging points are being folded into the SP Mobility network in phases over several months. The chargers keep running throughout, and the existing ChargEco app still works — SP has not said whether the apps will eventually merge. LTA DataMall still lists these sites under Strides YTL, which is why they appear separately here.

Without an account
ChargEco's own Terms of Use say you must open an EV-Account before charging. LTA's licence conditions require every public charger to be usable without an account, so a guest route has to exist — but ChargEco does not document one, so assume you will need the app.

If you leave the car plugged in after it finishes

$0.50 per minute, charged in 5-minute blocks · free for 30 minutes after the session ends · capped at $20 per session

All HDB car parks, plus selected other sites tagged in the ChargEco app — check the tag before you start.

Charged 10:00am to 10:00pm daily from 7 September 2026 (previously 9:00am to 6:00pm).

  • ChargEco Credits cannot be cashed out or transferred to another user, so top up only what you expect to spend.
  • The ChargEco support line is the same number as SP Mobility, consistent with the two networks merging.
