Starting a charge
Plug in, then start the session on the CDG ENGIE EV Charging platform; it ends when you unplug or stop it in the app.
Paying
  • Credit card — the charge appears as "ComfortDelGro ENGIE Pte. Ltd."
  • An e-receipt is issued after each session once payment clears
Without an account
Yes — you can charge as a guest without creating an account. Give an email address if you want the e-receipt.
Plans
None — CDG ENGIE is pay-as-you-go only.
Other networks
Yes — the app also reaches chargers run by third-party roaming partners, marked as such in the app. CDG ENGIE bills you for those but does not operate them.

If you leave the car plugged in after it finishes

Charged per minute; CDG ENERGY does not publish the rate on its site or in its T&Cs · free for a grace period once the car is fully charged, its length varying by site and shown in the app

Not at every site — CDG ENERGY advertises zero idle fees at selected locations and says rates vary by site and charger type. The app shows what applies where you are.

On the price you see: Prices shown in the CDG ENGIE app include GST.

  • Most sessions bill per kWh at the rate shown in the app; "block" sessions are a fixed fee instead.
  • Leaving a car in a charging lot without charging risks more than an idle fee — the T&Cs allow wheel-clamping and account suspension.
  • Overnight sessions between 10:00pm and 2:00am carry a minimum spend of $15, or your actual usage if higher; after 2:00am normal per-kWh rates resume.
  • The app has a trip planner that works out charging stops from your state of charge, and it runs on Virta, a Finnish charging platform, rather than software CDG ENGIE built itself.
