Starting a charge
Either scan the QR code in the app, or register once for AutoCharge and the charger reads your number plate and starts on its own in about 20 seconds.
Without the app
AutoCharge was the first number-plate-recognition charging in Singapore, launched around July 2025. Once registered you never touch the app at the charger again.

If you leave the car plugged in after it finishes

Additional charges may apply after the grace period; the rate is not published · free for 30 minutes from the end of the charging session

The app tells you when charging has finished, which is when the grace period starts.

  • A small network here (single-digit locations) but a large one in Malaysia, and it partners with JomCharge, so it suits drivers crossing the Causeway.
