Starting a charge

Open the Charge+ app and scan the QR code on the charger, or key in the charger ID.

Plans

Quota plans in the app — around $104 for 190 kWh (about $0.55/kWh) and $175 for 360 kWh (about $0.49/kWh), with anything beyond the quota billed at the normal public rate.

• BMW buyers through Performance Motors have had charging credits bundled with the car

On the price you see: Prices shown in the Charge+ app exclude GST, so the amount you actually pay is higher than the figure on screen. Most other operators show GST-inclusive prices, which makes a like-for-like comparison in the app misleading.

• Charge+ publishes no rate card and no idle-fee rate on its own site — the app is the only place those appear, so check it before your first session.
